Automatic thumbnails in video or audio files

Dropmark automatically extracts XMP metadata from images, audio files (e.g. MP3) and video files (e.g. MP4).

To include a thumbnail within your video or audio files, you can add custom artwork (sometimes called poster frame or cover art) within the file metadata. You can set this in an application like Apple Music (formerly iTunes), certain video editors, or a 3rd party metadata editor.

In Apple Music, select Get Info:

Then, select Artwork and paste in your custom image:

When uploaded to Dropmark, this image will automatically be set as the thumbnail.
