Is there a way to export/download all of your collections?

Nathan McGinley Jan 04, 2012 06:03PM EST

Just curious if there was a way to download/export all of your collections? Like a back up or just to download; it would be a great feature!

Hi Nathan,

Sorry for the late reply, I agree. Unfortunately there isn't an easy way to do this yet, but we plan to have a big "export everything" button soon.

For now, there are a few ways to automatically backup/sync your collections depending on what type of media you have.

Bookmarks, etc - Download RSS export (built into each collection)

Photos - Download/sync with iPhoto
See http://dropmark.com/blog/using-dropmark-sync-with-iphoto/

Audio/Video - Sync with iTunes or Miro (http://www.getmiro.com)
See http://dropmark.com/blog/using-dropmark-collaborative-playlists-with-soundcloud/

Thanks for using Dropmark!

Any news on when this feature might be launched? I'm really curious about this.

Thanks.

We don't have a launch date yet, but we'll announce it on our blog when we do :)

I save many files and it would be cool if you could download them all in one click. Come on, guys, it shouldn't be a hardcore engineering. Any updates about the feature?
